Healing Through Art: Mental Health Awareness Exhibit- Take #2
Beginning December 4, 2020
We welcome submissions of any type of visual and creative art (including digital and writing) for the Healing Through Art: Mental Health Awareness Exhibit co-sponsored by Open Door Art Studio and the Greenville Museum of Art. Submissions are limited to two per person in order to ensure we have sufficient space for all who want to participate. In this exhibit artists of all ages will showcase work reflecting their mental health experiences broadly defined, both challenges and resiliency. Topics might include experiences with substance abuse and/or recovery, illness, loss and grief, loneliness, disconnectedness, and aging concerns.
Entries for this exhibit must be submitted through the online submission form by November 6, 2020. The submission form also provides additional information about the exhibit. Contact Darlene Williams at email@example.com or 252-366-4756 to arrange a drop-off time during the last two weeks of November.
This exhibit is free and open to the public, however donations will be accepted and used to fund scholarships for mental health services available at the East Carolina University Family Therapy Clinic and research that helps advance the care and treatments for addressing mental health issues.
